This is the privacy policy (the "Privacy Policy") of VandhanaPolyPlast ("VPP"). VPP recognizes the need for protection and management of information shared by a User with VPP while accessing and using its website (i.e. www.vandhanapolyplast.com) (the "Website") and is committed to respecting the online privacy and safeguarding the same.This Privacy Policy explains VPP's the various methods / purposes for the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information of a User.

Extent of the Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy states the following:

Applicability

Type Of Information Collected By VPP

Information Collected

Users can browse through our whole Website without any requirement for registration. However, in the case of raising specific queries, the ‘Contact Us’ page has to be accessed and basic Personal Information has to be provided by the User.

Personal information may also get collected and shared with third-parties if there is content from the Website that the User specifically and knowingly uploads, shares or transmits to an email recipient, to the public etc e.g. uploaded photos, posted reviews or comments, or information about the User or anything posted by the User that it chooses to share with others.

Nature of Information

The information collected from you by VPP may constitute ‘Personal Information’ or ‘Sensitive Personal Data or Information’ under the SPDI Rules. As per SPDI Rules ‘Sensitive Personal Data or Information’ is defined mean Personal Information about a person relating to:

  • Passwords;
  • Financial information such as bank accounts, credit and debit card details or other payment instrument details;
  • Physical , physiological and mental health condition;
  • Sexual orientation;
  • Medical records and history;
  • Biometric information;
  • Information received by body corporate under lawful contract or otherwise;
  • Visitor details as provided at the time of registration or thereafter.

Information that is freely available in the public domain or accessible under the Right to Information Act, 2005 or any other law will not be regarded as Personal Information or Sensitive Personal Data of Information.

Since Sensitive Personal Data or Information means a particular kind of Personal Information, any refences to Personal Information in this Privacy Policy should be construed to include a reference to Sensitive Personal Data or Information.

Voluntary

All the information provided to the VPP on the Website by the User, including Sensitive Personal Data or Information, is voluntary Collection of information which has been designated as ‘Sensitive Personal Data or Information’ under the SPDI Rules as well as sharing of such information with any third Party (including insurance providers) for third party services requires your express consent. By affirming your assent to this Privacy Policy, you (i.e., the User) provide your consent to such collection as required under appliable law. The services on the Website may be unavailable to you in the event such consent is not given. All statements in this Privacy Policy apply to all Users and all Users are expected to read and understand the Privacy Policy.

Collection for Lawful Purpose

VPP confirms that the collection of User information is for a lawful purpose and is connected to and necessary for the functions and activities of VPP as well as of any third parties (including its parent and affiliates) which include providing the services in the manner set out in the Terms of Use.

How We Use This Information

For Availing Services of VPP

If the User has shared his information to avail the services of VPP, the said information would be used to aptly answers queries/ question, give clarifications to the User and for the marketing of other VPP company products. The data which is provided by the User will be used by VPP within its own system(s) for access by our employees which may designated by VPP to interact with the User via email or telephone. VPP will use this information as provided for its own reference and in furtherance of providing its services.

Based on the email address provided by you, we may periodically send you emails about new products or other relevant information pertinent to your business.

Commercial

VPP may also draw upon your Personal Information for commercial purposes and in an aggregated or non-personally identifiable form for research, studies, analysis, development of new services, for maintaining existing data, advertising including advertising by third parties, statistical analysis and business intelligence purposes, for sale or transfer of such research, statistical or intelligence data in an aggregated or non-personally identifiable form to third parties and affiliates.

VPP also reserves the right to use the User Information provided by or about the User for the following purposes:

Information that does not personally identify the Users as an individual, is collected by VPP from Users, stored in a non-personally identifiable aggregated form (such as, patterns of utilization described above) and is exclusively owned by VPP. You hereby consent to the above-mentioned use of the Personal Information and User Information by VPP.

Third Party Services

VPP will not commercially sell the Personal Information of the Users collected on its Website. Having said so VPP shall have a right to make available certain services of third parties or vendors / service providers on the Website. For providing such services of third parties on the Website, VPP shall have a right to share the Information of the User with such third parties.

VPP shall, without any obligation or liability, take reasonable steps to ensure that these third party service providers protect the User’s Information (including the Personal Information). However in case of any breach of privacy of the User’s Information due to any act or omission of such third party services providers, the User’s claims (if any) shall lie directly with such third parties to the complete exclusion of VPP.

How Is User Information Protected & Who We Share This Information With

Conditions governing the disclosure of Information

VPP does not share basic personal information with any third parties except as disclosed in this policy. VPP may provide such basic personal information to the VPP's consultants, subcontractors and professional advisers (which shall be bound by privacy obligations) to assist VPP for uses disclosed herein.

VPP has implemented reasonable market practices and security policies, rules and technical measures to protect the personal data that it has under its control from unauthorised access, improper use or disclosure, unauthorised modification and unlawful destruction or accidental loss. However, for any data loss or theft due to unauthorized access to the User's electronic devices through which the User avails the services including the Services listed in the Terms of Use, VPP shall not be held liable for any loss whatsoever incurred by the User. Users may note that VPP endeavours to ensure that its vendors, service providers and third party agencies agree to implement all market practices and security policies to control from unauthorised access, improper use or disclosure, unauthorised modification and unlawful destruction or accidental loss of the User / Personal Information. However, VPP bears no liability for any loss whatsoever in case of any data loss or theft from the custody of the third parties and its affiliates.

VPP will restrict access to the Personal Information to VPP’s employees and partners who need to know that information in order to operate , develop, provide or improve our services.

User (either Individuals or companies, as the case may be) may review their Personal Information contained in VPP files by contacting the VPP team.
